Sorry I have been away for awhile...that is my issue with having a blog at all. I suck at updating it when I get busy or am having health issues (which is all the time). I am so excited that I have found a wonderful place to take a beginning jewelry making class - I can't wait for the fun. I have been experimenting with making a few pieces with polymer clay and silver jewelry findings (that is what they call the little pre-made doohickeys). Here are a couple that I have done. What do you think?
The wonderful thing about polymer clay is that it can be made to look like so many things. In the earring and necklace set I was striving for a surreal stone look, which I think I achieved. In the broach I was just messing around trying to use up some things that I had been playing around with.
